Alanis Howard is an award-winning producer-director, writer, and editor based in New York City.
She has over eight years of experience in social media strategy, content production, and digital marketing. Proven track record managing multi-platform campaigns, developing mission-aligned content, and translating data insights into audience-driven strategy.
As a creative producer and strategist, she has headed branding and marketing campaigns for online platforms, including social media and website platforms, leading to a cumulative boost of 47% in viewership and engagement. She has worked with non-profit organizations, higher education institutions, and independent production and distribution studios throughout the United States.
Alanis holds an M.A. in Film & Media from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. in Film & Screen Studies from Pace University. She has participated in national fellowships and internships, including The Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund Fellowship 2024-25, Sundance Film Festival Internship with Oscilloscope Laboratories 2024, The Mellon Foundation’s Equity & Inclusion Storytelling Fellowship 2021, The Civilians Investigative Theatre Company internship, and the Dyson Society of Fellows for Writing on Film.
